Hi eTL 153 course participants. How are you? Would be great to have some feedback on the eTL 153 short course for our learning commmunity site members to see. Kindly post here what you like about the course as well as the teaching and learning taking place.

Then proceed to this link to do the online survey on your short course experiences –

This will take about 20 minutes of your time.

<p class=”MsoNormal” style=”mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;”><span style=”font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, serif;”> I am so blessed that I was able to participate in this kind of online-short course. I am so amazed by a lot of learnings I gained. I am just new to these reading difficulty lessons, but since I am a special education teacher I am encountering problems from general education teachers about these reading difficulties, and honestly speaking, I am not sure what to do with this reading problem. During this course, I realized how complex is reading is.

<p class=”MsoNormal” style=”mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;”><span style=”font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, serif;”> While I am attending the lectures, I was able to connect it with an iceberg, I was able to understand the hidden underneath the reading difficulties of our learners in regular classrooms and I am starting to see myself helping them in my special way. (hopefully!). The views given by Teacher Vic and Teacher Daisy are lifted from real-life experiences of their learners who have reading difficulties and this makes the discussions evidence-based that I can benchmark with when I met the same learner.

<p class=”MsoNormal” style=”margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;”><span style=”font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, serif;”> About how the teaching and learning occurs, it is very flexible for me, since I am also working I can still follow the discussions through the recorded lessons. The lessons have good phasing. It is great for my part, that I am starting to learn more about the what, whys, and how to help learners with reading difficulties.

Hi. Thank you for this honest take and reflection. Much appreciated – I hope you can remind your other classmates or fellow course participants to engage here. Were you also able to do the online survey?

Yes Miss Aleta I am done with the survey. 🙂 May I know when and where I will pay for this short course? Thank you.
